{"id":265,"date":"2025-09-22T17:39:44","date_gmt":"2025-09-22T17:39:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcloud.im\/blog\/?p=265"},"modified":"2026-01-18T11:45:43","modified_gmt":"2026-01-18T11:45:43","slug":"technology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mcloud.im\/blog\/blog\/2025\/09\/22\/technology\/","title":{"rendered":"Technology"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Well, I did it, I decided to ditch the PC and move everything to Mac!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have been with Mac before and started the journey a few years back when I moved the desktop PC to Mac mini, then bought an iPad (mainly so I could play my piano), and invested in Apple TV (as I do actually like some of the content on Apple TV) but now have completely dumped Windows and splurged out on a MacBook Air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next I have to decide whether I want to move the phone from Android to Mac- I do like the look of the new iPhone Air, but there are a few apps that are specific to Android that I may well miss&#8230; and I have to remember why I moved to Android in the first place which was to ensure that I can never accidentally mix the phones up from work to personal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given I won&#8217;t be with evil corp for ever &#8211; and likely will depart in the next 12 months, I could switch to iPhone and have everything Apple without the risk of accidentally mixing up the phones?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, I did it, I decided to ditch the PC and move everything to Mac!
